Company History

American Research Services (ARS) was formed in response to a need of the medical research industry to identify and track research volunteers.

In 1999, the founders of ARS, experts in the field of identification and tracking, were contacted by a large pharmaceutical development and research company who needed someone to help them to identify and track persons who had volunteered to participate in certain research programs, but who had since not followed through with their obligations. As it is imperative for the integrity of the data being compiled that every volunteer be accounted for, they needed someone who could fill that need. Thus, contracts were drawn up and ARS was born.

Since that time, other companies and entities, including a contractor doing medical expenditure research for the United States Government, have signed-on with ARS, making ARS now the leading provider of the service in the nation.
